At Swish Dental, our dentists take pride in supporting the veteran community. Our dental practice welcomes eligible patients under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). Should you be a DVA card holder you will be entitled to high quality dental care here at Swish Dental with no cost. Our practice bills DVA directly so there is no paperwork or payment needed from you.

What dental treatments are provided with a Department of Veterans' Affairs health care?

Gold card - covers the majority of dental services that you need.

White card - some treatments require approval from DVA before it is commenced.

How often can I come in for dental check-ups?

Depending on what your dental needs are you should be able to come in every 6 months for routine dental check-ups and cleaning. With dental treatment there is generally a limit of $2488 per year.

Am I covered for replacement dentures?

Broken or lost dentures provide entitlements to new dentures by the DVA. Replacement dentures can only be provided every 6 years but cannot be provided if your dentures have been relined in the last 12 months.
