Dental Vouchers

In Queensland, individuals on the public dental treatment waiting list might receive an offer for a dental voucher, applicable at select private dental clinics. This initiative by Queensland Health aims to provide an alternative for public dental patients awaiting treatment, allowing them access to private dental care.

Swish Dental is proud to collaborate with Metro South Oral Health Services (MSOHS) in honoring these government-issued vouchers. The vouchers we accept are valued at:

• $260 for urgent dental care, or
• $750 for a range of general dental treatments

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for these dental vouchers, adults must reside in Queensland and, if applicable, be receiving benefits from any of the following:

• Pensioner Concession Card from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs or CentreLink
• Health Care Card
• Commonwealth Seniors Health Card
• Queensland Seniors Card

Eligibility extends to all dependents listed on the card, ensuring they receive complimentary public dental care. Additionally, children under the guardianship of the Director-General, Department of Families, Youth and Community Care, are also eligible.

Next Steps for Eligible Individuals

If you meet the eligibility criteria outlined above, contact the nearest Queensland Oral Health Service Facility at 1300 300 850. You will need to visit the Oral Health clinic to obtain your voucher, bringing along your identification for verification. Upon receipt, you’ll also receive a directory of clinics that are part of the Dental Voucher Program.
